Game servers are now available at BYTERONIX! Configure now
KVM-Server

Your own virtual server.

Choose CPU, RAM, SSD, IP addresses, backups and operating system to match your project. Management, console, rDNS, backups and scheduled actions are then available directly in the customer area.

noVNC console and live status included
1

More cores for parallel workloads and higher load reserves.

1 GB

For example, 8-16 GB is recommended for small to medium game servers.

10 GB

Fast NVMe storage for data, services and applications.

1

One IPv4 is enough for most services; up to 32 IPv4 addresses are possible.

0

IPv6 for modern clients and additional services; up to 32 IPv6 networks are possible.

3

The first 3 backups are included.

Independently verified

Independently verified performance

The performance of our Starter plan was independently verified with Hoster-Check, YABS and Geekbench 6.

Geekbench 6 single-core

2,978 points

Geekbench 6 multi-core

5,417 points

NVMe performance

up to 6.15 GB/s

Network

up to 4.97 Gbit/s

Why does this matter?

High single-core performance helps deliver fast websites, short loading times and responsive WordPress, Laravel, shops and other web applications. The NVMe infrastructure also provides exceptionally high storage performance.

The benchmark results were conducted independently and represent a snapshot of the measured performance. Actual performance may vary depending on utilisation and application.

Resources

Scales from small services to large projects.

You start with a suitable configuration and can later expand performance, addresses and backup slots in the customer area.

20

CPU cores

More compute power for parallel workloads.

128 GB

RAM

Memory for applications and caches.

1 TB

SSD storage

Fast NVMe storage for data, services and applications.

32

IPv4 addresses

Dedicated IPv4 addresses for services and routing.

32

IPv6 networks

Additional IPv6 networks for modern setups.

20

Backups

Backup slots for manual and scheduled backups.

Templates

Available operating systems

Choose your system directly during ordering. Windows and Proxmox are only enabled automatically when the minimum resources fit.

Debian

4 Templates

Stable, lean and popular for web servers, APIs and services.

Ubuntu

5 Templates

Modern Linux distribution with a large community and broad package ecosystem.

Windows

10 Templates

For RDP, Windows applications and special software stacks.

Proxmox

Proxmox

4 Templates

Virtualisation and containers on your own server base.

Freely configurable

Choose CPU, RAM, NVMe storage, IP addresses and backups to fit your project. You only pay for what you actually select.

Provisioned immediately

After ordering, your KVM server is created automatically. In the customer area you will find console, actions, backups and live status in one place.

Control in the dashboard

Start, stop or reinstall your server. rDNS, firewall, IP addresses, traffic and statistics remain visible directly in the dashboard.

Prepaid and transparent

No hidden follow-up costs

Your server runs prepaid via your BYTERONIX balance. Runtime, monthly costs and renewals remain transparent. If you need more performance, the configuration can be expanded later.

rDNS default rdns.byteronix.de
Backup included 3 Backups
From ordering to operation

Your server remains controllable after provisioning.

KVM is made for projects that need more control than classic hosting. You choose the resources, get your own server environment and manage operation, console, backups, rDNS and scheduled tasks in the customer area.

01

Choose configuration

CPU, RAM, SSD, IP addresses, backups and operating system are defined directly in the ordering process.

02

Automatic provisioning

After ordering, the server is automatically created at the provider and synchronised with BYTERONIX.

03

Set up access

Open the noVNC console, copy access data and adjust hostname or rDNS as needed.

04

Manage operation

Start, stop, reinstall, create backups or schedule recurring actions in the dashboard.

KVM FAQ

Good to know before ordering.

Answers about operating systems, later changes, access, backups, scheduled tasks and runtime.

Which operating systems are available?

You can choose from the available Linux, Windows, Proxmox and other templates. Windows and Proxmox require higher minimum resources.

Can I change the configuration later?

Yes. CPU, RAM, disk, IP addresses and backup count can be changed later in the KVM management area. Remaining runtime is taken into account.

How do I access the server?

The server management page includes an embedded noVNC console. You can also use SSH or RDP depending on the selected operating system.

Are backups included?

Three backups are included. You can order additional backup slots and create, restore or delete backups from the dashboard.

Can I schedule tasks?

Yes. Start, stop, shutdown, restart and planned backup tasks can be scheduled from the KVM dashboard.

What happens after expiry?

The server is suspended after expiry and can be renewed during the retention period. If it remains unpaid, it may be deleted automatically.
