How does the availability check work?
Enter your desired domain. BYTERONIX checks the selected domain and, when possible, also popular alternatives with other endings.
Can I transfer an existing domain?
Yes. If a domain is already registered, you can start a transfer order. You need the auth code from the current provider.
What happens if the auth code is wrong?
The registry rejects the transfer. The order is not completed successfully and the issue is logged so support can help you.
Which data is required before ordering?
Your domain handle must contain complete address and contact data. This is required by registries for domain registrations and transfers.
Which nameservers are used by default?
BYTERONIX uses ns1.connectlayer.de and ns2.connectlayer.de by default, unless you later configure different nameservers.
Can I manage DNS records?
Yes. After ordering, the domain management area includes DNS records and a generator for common setups such as webspace, TeamSpeak, game servers or mail servers.
Why is a cancellation date set immediately?
Domains are prepaid. For safety, BYTERONIX schedules cancellation at the end of the paid runtime and extends it when you renew the domain.
